Reviewer: Vi Janaway Michelle L. Levigne has penned an intriguing tale of suspense and romance laced liberally with magic and danger, and readers are kept guessing as to the outcome. There are many twists and turns and characters who present themselves as friends, but are actually foes. I would tell more about the other characters, but that would give away too much of plot. The climax of LOS CIELOS is well worth the time to read all the sometimes complex, detailed storyline. I recommend it.

Princess
Elizabelita Innocente Concepcion Margarita is the heiress to Los Cielos.
A kingdom that was once a thriving and lush valley filled with vineyards
is now a barren wasteland. Her destiny is to bring life back to Los
Cielos, if she lives long enough to fulfill it.
Eduardo Mateo Carlos de Veritas is the youngest of three brothers, and he bears the brunt of that position. His oldest brother Emmanuel, heir to Los Cielos was believed killed by their middle brother Esteban. Eduardo is now a reformed man and no longer wishes to do the bidding of Esteban, even if it is to keep an eye on a beautiful princess. Elizabelita still mourns the loss of Emmanuel, her betrothed. The thought of having to accept Esteban in his place makes her cringe, but it is a small price to pay to reestablish Los Cielos to its former glory. However when Eduardo enters her life, Lita is swept up in emotions that she has never experienced. He considers her his equal and his ally. Eduardo is sure that he will never be good enough for Lita, but that does not stop him from loving her. He becomes her champion and her protector, but can he be what she needs most? She must bring life to Los Cielos, the question is who will share that life? Emmanuel, Esteban, or her beloved Eduardo. The plot ripens with all of the twists and turns in this story. Lita's character is courageous and strong, not at all the shrinking violet like most of the women at the time. She is also witty and not above getting dirty to get the job done. Eduardo is a man trying to put the pieces of his life together. His faults and insecurities make him a much more believable character and a perfect match for Lita. They fight for a civilization that has been gone for generations, but will evil prevail once again? I encourage you to read this and find out for yourself. A fairy tale with all the trimmings--a romance you won't want to miss. Lita lives a near normal
life with an elderly couple who guard her identity against intruders,
yet she knows who she is and what her fate must be. According to legend,
her marriage will heal an ancient breach in her homeland.
