SUNSINGER
Reviews:
I
have to admit that it has been a long, long, long time since I have read a
children's book, probably grade school. This is a wonderfully written, easy
to read book that would still be challenging enough to engage a child's
imagination. This is the kind of book I wish they had around when I was a
child. I would have gotten into Science Fiction much younger if they had.
This is a story that I can definitely recommend to all children. Timeless Tales * Reviewed by Chere Gruyer ... the story unwinds itself in an unique trip of salvation and growing-up, of mean actions and brave choices, ... The story is suitable for young-adult readers, who will find not only the adventure, but also the interesting description of life in the space, with amusing moments and dangerous aspects (e. g. the permanence in free-fall, without gravity). The characters are painted with effective touches, everyone with distinct manners and personality (wait to meet Ganfer, the ship's "smartificial" intelligence). ... in short the "Sunsinger" story, whose reading I can warmly recommend. SPACER'S CREED Reviews: This
is definitely a fun and amusing book that deals with relationships and
war. The horrors of war come through, but not to the point of ruining the
story for a child. It is dealt with in asensitive, caring way. I
definitely recommend this book. Timeless Tales * Reviewed by Chere Gruyer
Again,
this is a wonderful children's series of Science Fiction books. This time,
Lin and Bain end up in very dangerous situations, and they always manage
to get through them. Bain shows a lot of courage for a child and is a good
model for other children to follow. I can't recommend this series enough
for everyone! Timeless Tales * Reviewed by Chere Gruyer
FEVER Reviews: Even though THE SUNSINGER CHRONICLES are children’s science fiction, I just love this series and can’t wait to read the next one! Michelle Levigne has a wonderful writing style, which is very easy to read without being simplistic. The action is non-stop and we are allowed to grow up right along with Bain. ... Lin is a wonderful role model and teaches Bain well. I really love the ship’s computer, Ganfer, and how he has adapted a personality. I highly recommend this series to all lovers of science fiction, children and adults alike! ParaNormalRomance
