A year in the life ...

Bekka, Amy and Kat have decided to share an apartment while they study at Butler-Williams University and pursue their various theater and writing careers. Bekka is far too busy, with three jobs, her studies, and her writing, to devote time to a relationship -- even if the guys manage to look past Kat and see she's there in the shadows.

Then Shane walked into their apartment on moving day, and she couldn't help wondering... and wishing.

On his part, Shane noticed Bekka right away, but he had a busy life of his own, and a friend who needed a lot of his time and help. Then, every time he tried to get close enough to Bekka to get to know her better, something kept getting in the way...
